inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police says the exhumation process will be done to the body of the alleged swapped baby. The step is taken for the investigation process.

“Our investigation team has scheduled for tomorrow, on Tuesday December 17th will exhume the body of the baby to extract the DNA sample,” says the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam.

According to Ade, the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police investigators have checked the location. In this case, the baby was said to be swapped with other babies in one of the hospitals in Cempaka Putih.

The investigators, says Ade, have also asked for information from the victim's family, the head of the RW where the victim lives, and the hospital.

"Currently, an investigation is being carried out, to determine whether this incident is suspected of being a criminal act or not," he explained.
