inp.polri.go.id – Polda Metro Jaya will take action at 14 new odd-even points after the trial period from 6-12 June 2022 and the action will be carried out manually because those locations have not been installed the E-TLE cameras yet.
Regarding this, the Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said that his party would also monitor the "misbehaved" traffic police officers in the field.
The supervisory mechanism for these officers will be carried out openly and privately. If anyone violates the SOP, strict action will be taken. "Yes, if there is a violation, then a strict action will be taken against them. In addition, we will reactivate the hotline to report the misbehaved traffic police," explained Dirlantas, Minggu (29/5/22).
Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo added that the public can access the hotline number 081298911911 via WhatsApp by sending them a proof of photo and video evidence so that the officer can be immediately dealt with.
Previously, the police would carry out manual action at 14 odd-even points that had not yet been installed with E-TLE cameras. This means that odd-even system violators will be fined on the spot.
"If he is given a manual ticket, then we will match it with the E-TLE data. So in an area where there is E-TLE, we guarantee that there will be no double ticket. If he has been given a manual ticket, we will also cross-check the data from 12 areas where E-TLE is installed. Rest assured, we will not ticket the people twice," explained Dirlantas.
