inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Efforts to improve the image of the Indonesian National Police (INP) with the community, especially the younger generation, continue through creative and participatory approaches. 

One such effort was the 2025 Police Assistance Comic Festival, held at the Bundaran HI Car Free Day (CFD) area in Jakarta on Sunday morning.

This festival was the culmination of the 2025 "Polisi Penolong" Comic Competition, a visual storytelling-based initiative that encourages the public, especially young people, to record and share positive stories about the police through comics.

In recent years, the image of INP in public, especially on social media, has faced serious challenges. Yet, in the field, many police officers remain present as first responders during disasters, accidents, social conflicts, and other emergency situations.

"Comics were chosen as they are a language that resonates with the younger generation. They are concise, visual, touching, and easy to share. Through comics, the public is invited to see the police from a more unique perspective," said one of the event's initiators.

The "Polisi Penolong" Comic Competition was held from November to December 2024, with over 500 participants from across Indonesia. The 15 best works and one favorite were exhibited at the festival, and the winners were announced.

Through this festival, the public was also invited to see firsthand the capabilities and completeness of INP’s equipment in carrying out their rescue and rescue functions.
