The National Police (Polri) revealed that several food prices had increased, decreased, and were fixed ahead of the holy month of Ramadhan, such as chili, cayenne pepper, cooking oil to granulated sugar have increased in price. "Some food prices have continued to increase and decrease on March 7, 2022," stated the Head of the Public Relations Division (Kabag Penum) of the National Police (Polri) Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas), Commission Gatot Repli, Monday (7/3/2022). Kabag Penum Divisi Humas Polri conveyed that the decrease and increase in the price of food supplies were determined by the Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS). However, he ensures that the food supply is still sufficient. "It was conveyed that for the current stock of necessities until Lebaran, I conveyed that it was sufficient," said Gatot. According to PIHPS National, several prices that have increased, fixed, and decreased on March 7, 2022, is: 1. Curly chili pepper increased by 4.36% or into Rp.53,850 per kg; 2. Green chili pepper increased by 2,19% or into Rp49,000 per kg; 3. Red chili pepper increased by 4,91% or into Rp73,700 per kg; 4. Bulk cooking oil increased by 1,18% or into 17,100 per kg; 5. Packaged cooking oil branded 1 increased by 4.12% or into Rp20,200 per kg; 6. Packaged cooking oil branded 2 increased by 2.7% or into Rp. 19,000 per kg; 7. Premium quality granulated sugar increased by 0.65% or into Rp. 15.550 per kg; 8. Rice quality super 1 fixed in Rp. 13,100 per kg; 9. Rice quality super 2 fixed in Rp. 12,650 per kg; 10. Local granulated sugar fixed in Rp. 143,200 per kg; 11. Beef quality 1 decreased by 0.08% or into Rp.130.550 per kg.
