A pimp with the initials NR (32) was secured by the PPA Unit of the Majalengka Police. Majalengka Police Chief, AKBP Edwin Affandi said that the suspect, NR, had been a procurer for two months. “Apart from providing prostitutes, NR has also provided a place for the practice of prostitution. The practice is in a house in the Dawuan District, Majalengka Regency,” he explained. AKBP Edwin Affandi said this case was uncovered after the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) received reports from citizens and immediately conducted an investigation. "Members of the Satreskrim conducted an investigation based on the information from the community on Monday, April 18, 2022. After searching the house, it was found that an unofficial couple was having intercourse," stated the Majalengka Police Chief. "From the results of the examination, the perpetrator NR (32) has been running this depraved business for two months," he said. He confirmed that NR was charged with Article 296 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 1 year and 4 months in prison.
