inp.polri.go.id - Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta Regional Police held a Technical Working Meeting of Public Relations for 2025 Fiscal Year by raising the theme “Through Media Optimization, Yogyakarta Regional Police PR Ready to Realize Conducive Situation in the Region,”.

Directly opened by Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Anggoro Sukartono, the police chief emphasized the crucial role of PR in building a positive image for the public in order to maintain security and order.

“In this current digital era, where information can spread rapidly, the role of PR has become increasingly vital. We have to be able to manage the information well, presenting accurate data, and preventing hoaxes,” says Anggoro in his remarks.

This meeting was attended by 70 personnel, consisting of Information and Documentation Management Officers and public relations officers.

"Through this working meeting, we hope to achieve a common understanding, strategy, and concrete steps in optimizing media management. The goal is one: to create a conducive public order and security throughout Yogyakarta," explained Anggoro.
