inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Pope Francis will make an apostolic journey to Indonesia from September 3rd to 6th, 2024. In his visit to Indonesia, the Head of Presidential Secretariat, Heru Budi Hartono, says that Pope Francis will be welcomed directly by the President on September 4th, 2024.

“We are announcing to the people that on September 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, we will be visited by His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Heru Budi Hartono at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta on Monday (8/26/2024).

Furthermore, Heru conveyed that on September 5th, 2024, there will be two state agendas which are the Indonesia Sustainability Forum and a national mass. He suggested workers in Jakarta do work from home instead due to traffic adjustments.

“Our emphasis is that on September 5th, in addition to the visit of an important state guest, there will be a state event. Thus, I recommend people to consider the road that they will take and workers to consider working from home,” concludes Heru.
