Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto discussed his key national programs—including free nutritious meals (MBG), energy self-sufficiency, and the giant sea wall project—with Chinese Premier Li Qiang during a bilateral meeting at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Sunday (26/5/2025).

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that President Prabowo is seeking greater Chinese investment support to advance these strategic initiatives. 

“President Prabowo spoke about his flagship programs, including MBG and energy self-sufficiency. We’re also preparing for the giant sea wall project,” he told reporters, as reported by antaranews.com.

The meeting took place during Premier Li’s official visit, which also marked the signing of four MoUs and eight cooperation documents between the two countries—symbolizing their robust partnership across strategic sectors.

President Prabowo was accompanied by key cabinet members, including Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Minister of  Investment Rosan Roeslani, among others.
