Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto instructed military and police leadership to prioritize welfare through merit-based rewards during the 2026 Indonesian Military (TNI)-Indonesian National Police (INP) Leadership Meeting at the Merdeka Palace on Monday (9/2/2026).

This year’s summit, attended by over 600 high-ranking officials, marked the first time the annual coordination meeting was hosted at the Presidential Palace to streamline national security synergy.

Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak confirmed that the directive emphasizes recognizing personnel who excel in disaster relief or display exceptional heroism.

"If there are achievements, such as extraordinary service at disaster sites, rewards must be granted to boost morale and provide personnel with the recognition they deserve," Chief Maruli said, as cited by antaranews.com.

The rewards may include extraordinary promotions (KPLB), educational opportunities, or formal commendations.

Chief Maruli noted that while some awards are scheduled, heroic acts or international achievements will receive immediate, spontaneous recognition.
