Jokowi arrived at the Kremlin on Thursday (30/06/22) at around 15.30 local time and immediately held a private meeting with President Putin in the State Ceremony Room of Kremlin.
His arrival was greeted by Putin's friendly smile. Both of them were wearing black suits.
The closeness of the two leaders was also evident when talking in the reception room. Their tight relationship can be seen from the length of the one meter long table that separates the two.
During the meeting, Jokowi said he had conveyed a message from Zelensky to Putin. Jokowi asked for a dialogue between Ukraine-Russia to immediately resolve the problems between the two countries.
"As I said in Kyiv, although the current situation is still very difficult, I still stressed that a peaceful agreement is important, to continue to be prioritized and for dialogue chances to continue to be opened," said Jokowi at a press conference in Russia Thursday (30/30). 06/22).
Jokowi said he was ready to be a messanger of peace between Ukraine and Russia.

Jokowi claimed to have discussed with Putin regarding the availability of food and fertilizer from Ukraine and Russia.
