Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Presidential Palace on Tuesday (6/1/2026)urged authorities to investigate alleged acts of terror targeting a social media influencer critical of the government, stressing that intimidation has no place in Indonesia’s democracy.
“We ask that this be fully investigated,” State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said at the Cabinet retreat in Hambalang, Bogor, responding to reports of threats against an online influencer.
He said President Prabowo Subianto is concerned about the incident and supports a lawful investigation, while reaffirming that public criticism and policy feedback remain legitimate and protected.
The case involves influencer Ramon Dony Adam, known as DJ Donny, who reported alleged terror attacks at his home in Jakarta, including the delivery of animal remains and an attempted firebombing, which were reported to Metro Jaya Police.
Authorities are now examining CCTV footage and witness accounts to identify the perpetrators and motives behind the attacks.
