inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) encouraged Siapsiaga Village to support the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in Cirebon, West Java, during the signing of the Siapsiaga Village agreement in Cirebon.
BNPT Head, Eddy Hartono, explained that the Siapsiaga Village program is part of a national policy integrated into the medium-term development plan.
"This program aligns with government policies in the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), specifically National Priority 6 (Developing from the Village) and Quick Wins 1 (Free Nutritious Meals)," said Eddy on Wednesday (4/22/2026).
Through the Siapsiaga Village program, BNPT is developing a biofloc catfish cultivation system to strengthen community resilience in preventing radicalism through the development of a productive, sustainable economy based on local potential.
He stated that this activity is an important part of BNPT's efforts to strengthen community resilience through the development of a productive, sustainable economy based on local potential.
It is reported that the construction of 24 biofloc ponds in eight villages in Jamblang District, Cirebon, can also supply 2,000 catfish per pond to the MBG kitchen.
Through collaboration between BNPT, local governments, and various partners, the Siapsiaga Village program is expected to not only strengthen social resilience but also improve the economic well-being of the community as a preventative measure against radicalism and terrorism.
