Inp.polri.go.id - Serang. PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) announced the removal of executive ticket options at Merak Port in Banten starting five days before Eid al-Fitr to streamline passenger flow during the peak travel season.

“In line with our agreement with Gapasdap, all tickets will be standardized as regular. This will prevent congestion and ensure smooth operations,” said ASDP CEO Heru Widodo on Saturday (22/2/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Passengers who purchased executive tickets in advance will receive refunds to match regular fare rates.

Merak Port, which operates seven docks including one executive dock, typically faces heavy traffic during Eid due to high demand for premium services. The new measure aims to eliminate queues and simplify boarding procedures by treating all travelers equally.
