inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, announced the results of the Public Service Innovation Revitalization meeting from the Directorate of Registration and Identification. After the meeting, he emphasized the importance of digitalization as a strategic step to facilitate public access to services.

"We are now focusing on how we prioritize digitalization and revitalization of the service system, Signal, and digital tax payments. How we make it easier for the public to pay taxes," said Inspector General Agus on Monday (10/20/2025).

Agus further explained that obtaining a driver's license (SIM) must also be simplified, without neglecting the theoretical and practical aspects as competency requirements. He added that digitalization is also being implemented in vehicle registration (BPKB) services through innovations such as ERI and E-BPKB, which underscores the Police Traffic Corps' commitment to embracing the digital era.

"Making driving licenses (SIMs) must be easy, but they cannot ignore the theoretical and practical aspects. Therefore, competencies are essential, including digital ones in the field of BPKB, ERI, and E-BPKB (Electric Vehicle Registration). This demonstrates that the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) is prioritizing digitalization with this digital revitalization leap," he said.

The Head of INP Traffic Corps stated that this digitalization system has been officially launched by the Chief of Police, enabling the corps to move quickly to optimize the revitalization of public services. Key services such as driving licenses (SIMs), vehicle registrations (STNK), and vehicle registrations (BPKB) are the primary focus of this digital transformation.

He emphasized that this digital revitalization is a priority so that public services in the traffic sector can be directly experienced by the public easily, quickly, and efficiently. He also hopes that police services will become more professional, technology-based, and implemented wholeheartedly.
