inp.polri.go.id - Banjarnegara. Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) emphasized central government commitment in strengthening infrastructure in Dieng Highland, Banjarnegara to push tourism growth.

“Connectivity is important because when we talk about tourism, the first thing that is in consideration is the access. If the access is good, then I believe it would automatically attract people to visit,” says AHY quoted by antaranews on Sunday (8/24/2025).

After attending the dreadlock shaving ritual that was the highlight of the 15th Dieng Culture Festival (DCF) in 2025, he acknowledged that when heading to Dieng from Wonosobo Regency, the roads were still narrow and had high potential for traffic jams.

Therefore, his office will coordinate with relevant ministries to ensure infrastructure support, including roads, can be gradually strengthened.

"Infrastructure development in this area is expected to not only advance tourism but also revitalize the MSME and creative economy sectors, as well as create jobs," he explained.
