Ready to Secure the G20 Summit, the Traffic Corps Will Deploy Hundreds of Personnel

inp.polri.go.id – Ahead of the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16, 2022, the National Police Traffic Corps is ready to deploy electric vehicles to guard and secure the event. "Today we are reviewing the two and four wheeled vehicles, including the personnel. We will have joint exercises later, to adapt and as an orientation of the event for the personnel," explained the National Police Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi Firman, when checking the readiness of the vehicle, as quoted from the NTMC Polri, Wednesday (26/10/22). Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi hopes that all personnel and the vehicles deployed will be ready in securing the event, and also facing the current extreme weather conditions. It is reported that his party deployed 841 personnel, with 269 of them will use the electric vehicles while 363 other will use the usual vehicles. "The total number of vehicles deployed are 335 units, consisting of one unit of Command Center, 162 four-wheeled vehicles with 82 of them are the electric vehicles and 80 of them are the the non-electric vehicles. There are also two-wheeled vehicles consist of 172 units with 92 of them are the electric vehicles and 80 others are the non-electric vehicles," he concluded.
