President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana on the flight to Lampung Province were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Presidential Military Secretary - Air-vice Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Presidential Security Force of Indonesia Maj. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin. Upon arrival at Radin Intan II Airport, the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin and his entourage went straight to Darussaadah Islamic Boarding School, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency to open the 34th Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Congress in Lampung Province. This activity was attended by the Vice President 2004-2009 and 2014-2019, Jusuf Kalla, Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, the rais and katib syuriyah Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU), the chairman and secretary of the PBNU tanfidziyah, and representatives of the congress participants. Participants who attended the opening were only limited to 600 people; the congress, from 22-24 December, was held in a hybrid manner. Meanwhile, other participants attended the congress from meeting rooms at the University of Lampung, UIN Raden Intan, and Malahayati University, Bandar Lampung City. This activity was attended by 1,959 muktamirin from all over Indonesia and abroad.
