inp.polri.go.id – The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Riau Police launched an application dedicated to eradicate the drug trafficking. The application, which is named the Polda Riau Sikat Narkoba, can later be used to report the drug abuse activity around the region and the public could report it through this app, Monday (19/09/22). The Director of the Riau Police Narcotics Investigation explained that the application can already be downloaded on the Play Store for Android smart phone users, where people can use a number of features in the application. "We want to introduce to the public that tomorrow an application will be launched that can be used to report drugs abuse activity," explained Commissioner Yos Guntur. The Director of the Riau Police's Narcotics Investigation added that the application is intended to open up space for anyone who wants to report about drug abuse or illicit trafficking, and especially for those who know and witness drug transactions firsthand. Riau Police ensures that they will protect the identity of the reporter. "We guarantee the confidentiality of the reporter, and our admin will verify the information," concluded the former Barelang Police Chief.
