The Unit 5 Team from Sub-Directorate 1 of the Trade and Industry Directorate of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police checked rice availability at Anyar Tangerang Kota Market, Superindo Cipondoh, and Hypermart Mall Metropolis on Monday (9/14/2026). The results showed that stocks were sufficient and rice prices were stable.

"The availability of staple supplies are currently still available in traditional markets, and all supermarkets are selling rice according to the Highest Retail Price (HET)," explained Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Trade and Industry Directorate of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Superintendent Muhammad Ardila Amry, on Tuesday (9/15/2026).

Ardila detailed the prices of rice at Anyar Tangerang Kota Market, which sells medium, premium, and SPHP rice according to the HET. Medium rice is priced at IDR 12,500/kg, premium rice at IDR 14,900/kg, and SPHP rice at IDR 12,500/kg.

Rice sales at Superindo in Cipondoh, Tangerang City, were similar. Premium and SPHP rice were sold according to the HET of IDR 14,900 per kg and IDR 12,500 per kg, respectively.

Furthermore, rice inspected at a third location, Hypermart Mall Metropolis, Tangerang City, was found that the price of SPHP rice was IDR 12,500 per kg, in line with the HET.

This activity was carried out in collaboration with relevant agencies. The purpose was to check rice availability, ensure smooth distribution, and monitor rice prices.
