inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Social Affairs has established five work affirmations in its Anti-Corruption Pledge to ensure transparent and accountable governance of public service programs.

Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf emphasized that all commitments must be implemented by all levels of staff, from work unit leaders to field officers.

"Today we are taking a pledge against corruption. However, integrity is not just a formality sentence recited during roll call. Integrity is a solid action and decision that must be carried out whether there is anyone watching or not," said Saifullah on Monday (5/18/2026).

The five affirmations include maintaining integrity in budget management for underprivileged communities, ensuring that the President's priority programs, such as the Community School, are free from corruption, requiring work unit heads to actively supervise staff, ensuring the orderly procurement of goods and services, and prohibiting the signing of documents of questionable authenticity.

Saifullah emphasized the importance of administrative order to prevent future legal issues.

"Many problems arise not from flawed initial intentions, but from disorderly administration or unsupervised specifications. Small bad habits can become major problems later on, so there should be no tolerance for deviations," Saifullah emphasized.

Through this pledge, the Ministry of Social Affairs is also encouraging a transformation in work culture with the slogan "Ministry of Social Affairs: Economical, Great Service, No Corruption."

This step aims to ensure that every use of the state budget is efficient, targeted, and has a real impact on vulnerable communities without manipulation.
