Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang.  Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, operated by PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney), has confirmed that it is ready to support the 2025 Hajj season, which begins in May.

General Manager Dwi Ananda Wicaksana said on Sunday (13/4/2025) that all necessary facilities have been arranged, especially with the centralization of Hajj and Umrah services at Terminal 2F. It includes the Makkah Route service, which is being relocated from Terminal 2D to 2F to streamline operations.

“Terminal 2F offers a better and more comfortable space for pilgrims. We’re coordinating with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Saudi authorities to finalize the arrangements,” he explained, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Three airlines are set to carry Indonesian pilgrims: Garuda Indonesia, Saudi Airlines, and Lion Air. Indonesia’s Hajj quota this year is 221,000 pilgrims, comprising 203,320 regular and 17,680 special Hajj pilgrims.

“Embarkation points will include Pondok Gede, Cipondoh, and parts of West Java, divided between Kertajati and Soekarno-Hatta airports,” Dwi added.
