inp.polri.go.id – Lampung Police Chief, Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, accompanied by the Main Officials of Lampung Police, visits the office of the Regional Heads of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of Lampung and Bengkulu at the 3rd Floor Hall of the Bengkulu and Lampung Regional Tax Offices, Bandar Lampung City, Monday ( 8/8/2022). This visit is intended to strengthen the relationship and improve the good cooperation that has been established between the DGT and the National Police. The cooperation that has been running so far includes data/information exchange, law enforcement, human resource development, security and intelligence assistance. The Lampung Regional Police Chief in the hearing said, taxes are a pillar of the country's development, and the role of taxes is so vital in financing the development of the country. Paying taxes and reporting the Annual Notification Letter is a real manifestation of our concern to the state’s development . With the mutual agreement between the National Police and the Directorate General of Taxes, it is hoped that it will create a stronger coordination to improve compliance, enforce the law, and secure tax revenues, he said. "The police also paid their concern on the tax revenues, because this is important for the state’s development. So the aspects of enforcement and supervision of tax must be done together," said the Police Chief.
