inp.polri.go.id - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Bangka Belitung Police has secured hundreds of illegal tin blocks.
In a press conference, the Head of Public Relations of Bangka Belitung Police, Police Commissioner A. Maladi, confirmed the disclosure of illegal tin blocks in Batu Be Lubang Village, Pangkalan Baru District, Central Bangka Regency.
"From the data we have received, it is true that illegal tin blocks have been secured in a warehouse of a person with the initials RA in Batu Be Lubang Village," said Commissioner Maladi, Saturday (23/07/22).
Head of Public Relations of the Bangka Belitung Police, said that this disclosure stems from an information received by Mobile Brigade personnel regarding the illegal storage of Tin Beams in Batu Be Lubang Village.
The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation personnel then immediately moved to the warehouse to inspect the location.
"When checking into the warehouse, it was true that an illegal tin block was found in a yellow truck with the police number B 9160 VDA," said the Babel Police Intermediate Officer.
The police found 384 tin blocks with a total weight of 7,776 kg, 3 round tin blocks weighing 34 kg. 105 pieces of tin coins weighing 9 kg, and 44 yellow tin blocks weighing 1,054 kg.
"So the total weight of the secured tin is 8,873 kg," concluded Commissioner Maladi.
