inp.polri.go.id - Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Supriansa, appreciated the South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Nana Sujana, and his staff, who managed to uncover 11 kilograms of methamphetamine trafficking at the Nusantara Port of Parepare, South Sulawesi.
"I give my highest appreciation to the Police Chief and the personnel of South Sulawesi police for their success in confiscating 11 kilograms of methamphetamine at the Nusantara Port of Parepare," stated the former Deputy Regent of Soppeng.
He added that the South Sulawesi Police Chief had stated that South Sulawesi had been categorized as a drug emergency. So the government has to use everything to fight drugs which are alleged to have taken roots in rural communities.
The founder of the Anti Corruption Committee (ACC), continued Drugs are part of colonization to our generation, to paralyze the lives, and destroyed the future of the nation.
"Therefore, to all citizens and denizes in South Sulawesi, please immediately report to the nearest police station if there is anything suspicious in the area where we live," explained the member of Commission III of the House of Representatives.
Previously, personnel from the Nusantara Port area (KPN) of Parepare City, South Sulawesi, secured 11 large packages containing one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine each.
This arrest began with the suspicion of police officers with passenger luggage.
"When we checked the passengers' luggage, we found 11 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from the passenger's belongings," explained the Parepare Police Chief, AKBP Andiko Wicaksono, last Monday, July 25, 2022.
