The information was then immediately followed up by Minut Police personnel who managed to secure OM, in the Kalawat District, Minut Regency, on Sunday 15 May 2022 at around 06.00 WITA. "After a search of OM was carried out, we are able to secure a firearm of UZI semi-automatic rifle and 15 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition," said General Bintang Dua. The two suspects were charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 1951 concerning illegal possession of firearms, ammunition or explosives without a valid permit.
