Travelers that wants to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometown in Sumatra are forced to stuck for hours to get to the ferry. All of us definitely does not want this kind of disaster to be happening again in Bakauheni Port in Lampung, Friday (6/5/2022). Several strategies have been prepared to overcome congestion in the port. One of the important factor is to add more ferry ship and dock to cross through the sea. Other than that, the contraflow will be implemented to port Bakauheni. Several rest areas and parking lots have also been prepared to anticipate the density of travelers at the port. According to mass media observers, Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan, S.Pd., M.IKom., socialization of the return flow from Sumatra still needs to be intensified. "Unlike the trip from Java to Sumatra, which has been massively socialized, the return flow from Sumatra has not been widely socialized. Hopefully, in this short time, various information related to the return flow from Sumatra can still be shared, including access to Bakauheni Port," advised Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan.
