South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Setyo Boedi Moempoeni, along with South Sulawesi Regional Police key officials ensure smooth 2024 General Election by inspecting General Election Commission (KPU) logistic warehouse, South Sulawesi Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Office, and South Sulawesi KPU. During the visit, the police chief stressed the importance of collaboration in maintaining safe and secure 2024 election. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety of ballots, by preventing fire and other incidents. The police chief also expressed his beliefs that the Indonesian National Police (INP) personnel, Indonesian Military Force (TNI), and related stakeholders could maintain strong cooperation in realizing an election that is safe and peaceful. This includes protection for election organizers and ensuring safe and conducive situations during elections. Moreover, South Sulawesi have ordered the establishment of security post around election organizers from provincial level down to the lowest level. This would help security monitoring and security around the area and prevent any disturbance potentials. South Sulawesi Police is committed to maintain integrity and security of 2024 General Elections.
