inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation officially integrates the Shipping and Maritime Management Information System with the Electronic Port Service System. The integration of the two service systems is projected to increase service efficiency and ship data security.
"This is part of our efforts to follow up on the need for faster public services. The integration of these two services is a form of optimization of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE)," said Deputy Minister of Transportation, Suntana on Tuesday (10/29/2024)
Meanwhile, the Director General of Sea Transportation, Antoni Arif Priadi, said that the integration of the Shipping and Maritime Management Information System and Electronic Port Service System is a strategic step to realize SPBE, as mandated in Presidential Regulation No. 95 of 2018 and the Decree of the Minister of Transportation Number 112 of 2022.
"Through the integration of the Shipping and Maritime Management Information System and Electronic Port Service System, it can significantly increase efficiency, interoperability, and data security, which will ultimately facilitate the administrative process of ship and goods services at the port," he explained.
In his statement, he revealed that this requires a policy to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability and non-denial of resources related to data and information. This is done to realize the implementation of information between the Shipping and Maritime Management Information System and Electronic Port Service System services in the implementation of SPBE.
"This confidentiality agreement is a strategic and operational basis for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of data. Which is exchanged between the Shipping and Maritime Management Information System and Electronic Port Service System," he explained.
