inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto invited members of the Serang City regional parliament members, Banten, to oversee various strategic government programs.

This was conveyed by Bima when opening the Serang City Regional People's Representative Assembly (DPRD) Workshop entitled "Strengthening the Role of the DPRD in the Preparation of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) and Regional Financial Management", in Jakarta, Sunday (5/25.2025).

He emphasized that the government is currently trying to realize  2045 Golden Indonesia through a number of priority programs, including utilizing the demographic bonus by strengthening human resources (HR).

He said that HR plays an important role in driving the progress of a country. Therefore, the government has prepared a number of strategic programs such as free nutritious meals (MBG) and People's Schools. According to him, the big idea to support this development needs to be monitored so that its implementation is as expected.

He believes that strategic programs such as MBG will have a broad impact on various sectors, including the community's economy. Therefore, he emphasized the importance of involving local entrepreneurs in the implementation of the program.

"If it is monitored together, the effect will be successful. This (MBG program) is a long-term investment," said Bima.
