inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Saturday (5/24/2025) that China and Indonesia are examples for major developing countries in terms of uniting efforts for solidarity, development, and win-win cooperation.

The statement was delivered by Li in a written statement upon his arrival in Jakarta for an official visit to Indonesia at the invitation of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

Li said that China and Indonesia are friends and neighbors across the ocean as well as close partners with a shared future.

He added that this year marks 75 years of China-Indonesia diplomatic relations that have continued to develop steadily.

Premier Li emphasized that the long-standing friendship between the two countries has grown stronger over time and practical cooperation has yielded many results.

Li said that the two meetings between Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Prabowo last year had reached an important consensus on building a China-Indonesia community with a shared future that has regional and global influence, elevating bilateral relations to a higher level, and opening up new opportunities for both sides to strengthen cooperation in various fields.

China, Li stressed, is ready to work with Indonesia to continue consolidating the "five pillars" of cooperation in politics, economy, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, maritime and security.

He called on both sides to enrich the China-Indonesia community with a harmonious future, work together to pursue modernization, and make greater contributions to regional and global peace, stability and development.
