inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is committed to improving the governance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program to ensure it is free from corruption and maximizes the benefits of the budget, ensuring it truly reaches the public.
"We will ensure that every rupiah is utilized effectively and, most importantly, free from corruption," said Vice President Gibran on Thursday (June 18, 2026).
He explained that these improvement measures are crucial for the government. He believes this commitment to restructuring aims to maintain public trust in priority programs.
In addition to focusing on MBG governance, the government is also paying attention to the people's economic sector. Gibran emphasized that the government is also committed to improving the governance of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative.
On the same occasion, Gibran also expressed his appreciation to all student groups for peacefully expressing their aspirations regarding improvements to government programs.
"Thank you for your constructive input, especially regarding MBG and cooperatives," said the Vice President.
He brought five students on his working visit to review priority programs in five provinces, from Pelita Harapan University, Sanata Dharma University, University of Indonesia, Jenderal Soedirman University, and the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture (ISBI).
The working visit, scheduled for June 18-21, 2026, to the provinces of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Gorontalo, West Papua, Central Papua, and South Papua, aims to ensure the optimal implementation of various government priority programs while strengthening synergy with local governments and communities, in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's directives.
