Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  On Sunday (29/6/2025) 32 major roads in Jakarta will be closed from 3.30 am to 11.30 am for the BTN Jakarta International Marathon, which expects 30,000 runners from 52 countries competing in 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon categories. 

This race, celebrating Jakarta’s 498th anniversary, starts at Monas suareand finishes at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. Road closures will apply across key areas, including Thamrin, Sudirman, Rasuna Said, Mampang, Senopati, Gatot Subroto, and Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, according to antaranews.com.

Public transport—Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT—will operate normally, but with some route adjustments.

31 alternative routes are prepared to reduce congestion. Residents are advised to travel before 03:30 or after 11:30, and use public transport where possible.
