Inp.polri.go.id - Mandalika. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno announced that 80% of tickets for the 2024 MotoGP at Mandalika have been sold.
"I received information that ticket sales have reached 80%," he said after inspecting the Mandalika Circuit during practice on Friday (27/9/2024).
As the third year of MotoGP in Mandalika approaches, Minister Sandiaga hoped for attendance to surpass last year's record of 102,929 spectators.
"This year, we aim for a higher turnout than last year's figure," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com..
Minister emphasized the importance of a successful event from September 27 to 29, wishing for everything to run smoothly.
Troy Reza Warokka, the Chairman of MotoGP Mandalika, confirmed the ticket sales status but could not specify exact numbers due to ongoing sales.
"Progress has reached 80%," he said, expressing confidence that sales would continue to rise as the event date approaches.
Troy noted that all tickets for the royal box are sold out, reinforcing optimism that the target of over 100,000 spectators will be met.
