Inp.polri.go.id - Lombok. Sky Lancing in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), will host the first Skylancing X’Cross Country Championship 2025 from 13 to 19 October2025, featuring 80 national and international paragliders.

“This inaugural event brings together 80 athletes from 10 countries with a total prize pool of IDR 300 million,” said Roy Rahmanto, the Chair of Sky Lancing Lombok, on Sunday (28/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

So far, 69 athletes have registered from Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, and Italy. The championship is part of the official 2025 Indonesian paragliding calendar.

The take-off point is Sky Lancing Paragliding, with a landing site at West Lombok Regent’s Office. Athletes will fly over scenic destinations including Dam Pengga, Areguling, and Jembatan Kembar, covering a 24.65-kilometer route. Organizers expect the event to strengthen Lombok’s position as a sport tourism hub while boosting local MSMEs and preparing NTB for the 2028 National Games (PON).
