"So the total donations that went to the ACT foundation from 2005 to 2020 were around Rp2 trillion. And from this Rp2 trillion, Rp450 billion, or about 25% of the total funds, was used for operational reasons, where the source of the operational budget was obtained from the cuts made by the board of the foundation," explained Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Friday (29/7/22).
He explained that the ACT foundation cut the donation funds from 2015 to 2019 by 20% to 30%. Meanwhile, since 2020 until now, it has been cut by 30%. "In 2015 to 2019 the basis used by the foundation for cutting is a decree from the supervisor and supervisor of ACT. Then in 2020 until now it is based on the opinion of the ACT Foundation's sharia board committee," explained Karo Penmas.
