inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Bali Regional Police, through the Bali Joint Food Task Force, continues to monitor rice prices in the market to ensure price stability in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the government ahead of Galungan Day, Monday (11/17/25).
The Task Force conducted the inspections at three locations, namely two retail stores and one wholesale store in Denpasar to directly monitor rice prices and ensure the availability of food stocks in Bali.
The results of the inspections showed that the two retail stores did not have any violations in selling Rice Prices above the HET ahead of Galungan Day.
The joint team also visited the wholesale store which, when inspected, was indeed selling Rice Prices in accordance with the HET.
The Task Force also issued an appeal to business actors not to violate and asked them to adjust selling prices in accordance with applicable regulations.
The police will not tolerate any business practices that violate the price provisions set by the government. Businesses found violating these regulations will face strict sanctions, including revocation of their business licenses.
