Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Food Task Force anticipates food stock and distribution disruptions ahead Ramadan by conducting preemptive and preventive measures along with related stakeholders.
“This initiative is taken so people could focus on their worship and praying,” said the Head of INP Public Information, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters on Friday (3/8/2024).
Such initiatives, Trunoyudo revealed, are by inspecting rice and food stocks in market and at producer level. The inspection is carried out throughout Indonesia by regional polices ranks.
“We hoped that through this effort, we could maintain the balance of food stocks,” said Brigadier General Trunoyudo.
Moreover, Trunoyudo ensures that the Food Task Force and regional police ranks will continue to coordinate with related institutions, particularly with Regional Inflation Handling Team parties.
