inp.polri.go.id - Medan. Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said that his party had prepared three companies of joint personnel to be prepared in disaster-prone areas. The three companies prepared to anticipate natural disasters consist of Sabhara, Traffic Police, Water and Air Police, and Crime Investigation Unit.

"The Operational bureau and its ranks have prepared three joint companies to anticipate in the event of a natural disaster. This company is ready to be moved to areas prone to disasters. One company has 60 people," explained the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police.

Personnel in the ranks of the Resort Police in North Sumatra have also prepared two-thirds of their strength to anticipate if a landslide occurs. This is because several areas in North Sumatra have entered a season with high rainfall intensity.

The three companies consisted of Krimum, Sabhara, Traffic and Air Police. They are included with the equipment and tools available. In addition to the Regional Police, the Regional Police also prepare a third or two-thirds of the force in the event of landslides, floods and other disasters in their area. This is a responsive step in the event of a disaster.

This company is ready to be moved to areas where disasters occur or anticipate disaster-prone areas. One company is 60 people. But, of course, not only the Police but also the Army. He appealed to the public to be more careful. "There has been an incident at KM30 in Karo; this is a concern for all of us," he explained.

It is known today (Tuesday, November 2, 2021), floods occurred at several points in Patumbak, and Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang, with varying water discharges. Likewise, at the Amplas toll exit. Currently, several flood points have begun to recede. Residents have also started cleaning up the rest of the flood.
