Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s tourism gem, Bali, has been named the Best Island in Asia 2025 by Condé Nast Traveller UK, reaffirming its global standing as one of the world’s premier travel destinations.
Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said on Wednesday (15/10/2025) the recognition highlights Indonesia’s strong and sustainable tourism ecosystem, from human resource quality and destination readiness to environmental commitment.
In the Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, Bali topped the “Best Islands in Asia” list, and also secured the 6th spot globally in Condé Nast Traveler US rankings with a score of 89.84, according to antaranews.com.
Between January and August 2025, Bali welcomed over 10 million foreign visitors, a 10.38% increase year-on-year, according to Indonesia’s Statistics Bureau.
Minister Widiyanti emphasized that the award reinforces the success of the “Wonderful Indonesia” branding strategy and opens greater opportunities to attract global travelers through digital innovation and cross-sector collaboration.
