Bali Police Chief Inspects IAF Summit Venues in Nusa Dua

Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya inspected several venues in Nusa Dua, Badung, on Thursday (29/8/2024), preparing for the Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) Summit II and the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLF-MSP).

He visited key locations including the Westin BICC, Hotel Mulia, Intercontinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, and Kuta Selatan to follow up the directives from the Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Security Maintenance Agency, Commissioner General Fadil Imran, who oversees Operation Puri Agung II, according to antaranews.com.

Bali Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, the operation aims to assure the security and smooth running of the summit, with thousands of personnel deployed.

Operation Puri Agung II includes Tactical Floor Games (TFG), with a major exercise scheduled at GOR Yudomo Stadium in Denpasar on Friday, followed by a security preparation briefing at Lapangan Kuputan Niti Mandala in Renon.

The IAF Summit II and HLF-MSP will be held from 1 to 3 September 2024, focusing on economic transformation, energy, mining, food security, health, and development. The event aims to host 28 heads of state and 800 delegates from governments, international organizations, and businesses.
