Inp.polri.go.id – Bali. The Head of Bali Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan implores public who goes on travel to their hometown to make sure their house is safe. Jansen urged people to ensure their gas and electricity have been turned off before leaving. The step is to prevent fire disaster from happening. Furthermore, the PR chief also implores that the houses are locked tight and entrusted to their closest neighbour before leaving to prevent thefts. "Even there are some who intentionally intend to do bad and we should not let them. Make sure that your house is locked, even better if you entrusted the key to your closest neighbor," explained Senior Superintendent Jansen. On the other hand, Bali is not also prepared for the homecoming traffic but also for the holiday season as the province is known for its tourist destinations. "As we all know, Bali is a tourist destination, thus we are intensifying our security effort as it is our responsibility to guarantee the safety of the public," said Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan. The PR Chief also urged the public to be their own police, which means maintaining their own and surrounding security. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
