inp.polri.go.id - Bangka Belitung. The Directorate of Community Development of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police successfully carried out a mass harvest of sweet potatoes. The potato was harvested after the unit utilised empty land in the yard area of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Community Development Directorate office, Friday (6/20/2025).
This activity is part of police's efforts to support the national food security program, especially through the utilization of healthy and nutritious office yard land.
This sweet potato harvest produced the maximum amount, showing the great potential of the narrow land utilization program.
This success is expected to be an example and motivation for members of the police and the wider community to participate in planting in their respective yards.
“We will continue to develop this program to plant even more,” says a representative of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police Community Development Directorate personnel.
In his statement, he hopes that through this harvest, many of our members will be inspired to plant in their yards, even by utilizing used fruit boxes that are often thrown away.
This initiative not only aims to increase food availability, but also encourages a healthy lifestyle and utilization.
