Inp.polri.go.id - Serang.  The Banten Regional Police and local police offices distributed 20.5 tons of Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) rice to residents during the Gerakan Pangan Murah (Affordable Food Drive) initiatives held across nine locations on Sunday (10/8/2025).

“This program began at 9 am. and continued until completion, with police personnel securing each site,” said Banten Police Director of Special Crimes  Senior Superintendent Yudhis Wibisana, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Distribution points included 3 tons by Banten Police Special Crimes Unit in front of the Police Medical Unit, 1 ton by the Community Development Directorate at the Banten administration complex, and 2 tons by Serang Sub-regional Police during Car Free Day. Other deliveries included 7 tons in Serang, 1.5 tons in Pandeglang, 2 tons each in Lebak, Tangerang City, and Cilegon.

Chief Yudhis said the program would continue to help strengthen food security and support basic needs for the community.
