inp.polri.go.id – Bengkulu. Bengkulu Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Guntur Setyanto directly observed the vaccinations carried out at two locations, namely Public Post Secondary (SMAN) 5 Bengkulu City and the Church of Saint John, Monday (09/06/2021). The Bengkulu Regional Police Chief was accompanied by Chief Operational Bureau from Directorate of Traffic Security, Head of PR, Acting Head of Medical and Health division and Head of Hospital of Bengkulu Regional Police.
The Covid-19 vaccination held by the Bengkulu Regional Police in collaboration with volunteers from health students was carried out at a number of points in Bengkulu City. The eight locations of simultaneous vaccinations were carried out in 4 Islamic boarding schools, 1 university, 2 places of worship and 2 high schools.
"We urge people to keep their distance. Even though the condition is going down, we still have to be vigilant," said the Bengkulu Regional Police Chief.
The Bengkulu Regional Police are targeting 5,550 peoples to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in simultaneous vaccination for 2 days. . Bengkulu Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Guntur Setyanto said that this vaccination was deliberately held simultaneously in 8 locations in Bengkulu City with the aim that the achievement of 70 percent of the people of Indonesia and Bengkulu Province after being vaccinated could be achieved.
Not only that, the Bengkulu Regional Police and their ranks support the vaccination campaign at the student level. This was done to support the face-to-face learning program to run smoothly and reduce the anxiety of parents and students to take part in face-to-face learning which is currently being implemented.
