Inp.polri.go.id - Blitar. Blitar Sub-regional Police launch investigation for the assault of Islamic boarding school student initialed MA (14) in Kalipang, Sutojayan, Blitar Regency, East Java, causing the death of the victim.

  The Head of Blitar Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Adjutant Febby Pahlevi Rizal says that his party is still working on the case. Several witnesses reportedly have been examined.   “As of now, 21 witnesses have been questioned,” says Febby on Sunday (1/7/2024).   Meanwhile, Heru Wahyudi, the uncle of the victim, told that the family received the from news on January 3rd, 2024 night when MA was moved to the hospital. At the time, MA was in coma so officials nor his family could ask him. The school also reportedly refuse to provide any clarifications regarding the incidents.   “We do not know the chronology of the incident, the family do not know. The family heard the news on Wednesday night, when MA was already laying down on the hospital bed,” says Heru Wahyudi.   (ad/ri/pr/nm)
