inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) are strengthening synergy in public services.
Acting Chief Inspector of the BNN, Dicky Kusumawardhana, explained that the BNN's public service achievements are inseparable from the strategic role of its leadership in organizing, as well as solid collaboration between work units.
"Furthermore, building a shared understanding of the importance of public services is also key to driving improved performance," concluded Dicky on Monday (5/4/2026).
Therefore, Acting Chief Inspector Dicky stated that the hearings and peer review activities are a crucial momentum to strengthen synergy between institutions in improving the quality of public services.
The BNN has recorded positive achievements in bureaucratic reform. The bureaucratic reform index reached 82.47 in 2024 and increased to 84.37 in 2025, the highest level since 2016.
Dicky stated that several public service indicators also received excellent ratings, including the level of public complaint follow-up, the public service index, compliance with service standards, and public satisfaction surveys.
However, he emphasized that these achievements were not the final goal, but rather part of an ongoing process to continuously improve the quality of public services.
Meanwhile, Enteng Mundiati, a representative from LPSK, stated that the purpose of the visit was to conduct a field study in preparation for the public service assessment by the Indonesian Ombudsman in 2026.
She explained that the LPSK has not been a focus of Ombudsman audits, thus requiring in-depth study of the assessment mechanisms and strategies implemented by institutions that have achieved good results, such as BNN.
"We hope to learn and gain insight into the assessment mechanisms of the Indonesian Ombudsman, as well as the strategies implemented by the BNN in preparing for quality public services," Enteng said.
The LPSK also expressed its hope to follow in the BNN's footsteps in achieving the best public service assessment and to open up opportunities for closer cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
These activities are expected to foster knowledge sharing and strengthen synergies between institutions to ensure optimal public services that are responsive to community needs.
