inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) affirmed its commitment to overseeing national priority programs in the field of human development to realize the Golden Generation 2045.
Member III of the BPK, Akhsanul Khaq, stated that his agency implemented a strategic-based audit approach as an audit method oriented towards strategic issues and directly impacting the achievement of national development goals.
"The BPK will oversee social transformation through audits of health services, quality education, and adaptive social protection. The goal is for Indonesia's human development to proceed in an inclusive and sustainable manner," he said, Thursday (9/25/2025).
In the BPK's 2025–2029 Strategic Plan, thematic audits of human development will focus on three main pillars, namely health, education, and social welfare.
Several issues of concern include the high maternal mortality rate, the prevalence of stunting, the low quality of education, the unequal distribution of educators, inaccurate social protection data, and limited access to basic services for the underprivileged.
Through the audit, Akhsanul hopes that the BPK can contribute to achieving national development targets, including reducing the poverty rate to 4.5 percent by 2029, eliminating extreme poverty, and increasing the Human Capital Index (IMM) from 0.54 in 2024 to 0.59 in 2029.
He also emphasized the importance of the BPK's recommendations so that they can have a real impact on the government and society.
"I hope the BPK's recommendations can help the government improve governance, policy design, synchronization patterns, and control in the formulation, determination, and implementation of the National Priority Program for Human Development," he said.
