Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) inaugurated the Wisata Juang Korps Brimob in Gunungputri, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (26/8/2025)), aiming to highlight the human and inclusive side of the elite unit. The new facility blends history, culture, and public engagement.
Brimob Commander Commissioner General Imam Widodo led the opening ceremony, underscoring its role in shaping a disciplined yet approachable image.
“We want Brimob not to be feared, but to serve the people, the nation, and the state,” said Brigadier General Agustri Heriyanto, the Head of the project committee, as quoted by antaranews.com
He explained the concept differs from a traditional museum, instead offering an interactive “struggle tourism” experience.
Visitors can view 60 unit flags, two Brimob banners, historical archives, and national miniatures such as the Rumbati Monument and Guraba Fortress. A digital platform also enables the public to contribute historical data, keeping Brimob’s narrative alive.
The site is open daily with no entrance fee and minimal security to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
