Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State logistics agency Bulog has partnered with the Indonesian Indonesian National Police (INP) to accelerate corn absorption and meet a 1 million-ton target in 2026, as part of the government’s food security drive.

“Our target is to absorb one million tons of corn in 2026, and we will work in synergy with the National Police to ensure smooth and optimal absorption,” Bulog President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said following Bulog’s national working meeting on Sunday (11/1/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

The collaboration involves field-level supervision, farmer assistance, and distribution support, with Polri’s presence expected to speed up post-harvest absorption nationwide. Bulog said the strategy follows directives from President Prabowo Subianto and aligns with Indonesia’s continued corn self-sufficiency.

According to official data, national corn production recorded a surplus in 2025, strengthening confidence in the 2026 target. The INP has also contributed directly to corn production through nationwide planting programs.
