inp.polri.go.id - Commemorating the 67th Traffic Day in 2022, the Bali Traffic Directorate held a Social Service (Baksos) activity by distributing food packages to people affected by the increase in subsidized fuel prices, Friday (16/9/22). The social service activity was also attended by the Bali Police Chief, Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra, Deputy Chief of the Bali Police, Brigadier General I Ketut Suardana, Main Officer of the Bali Police, and the community who received the basic food packages. On that occasion, Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra said that the social service activity is a government program in order to help people who are affected by the increase in subsidized fuel prices. "We distributed 110 food packages to the people who came this morning. We also sent our aids to all districts, with around 5000 food packages. During the distribute we also talk with the community regarding why the government had to increase the fuel prices, and this decision is also aimed to distribute the subsidized fuel to those who truly need it,” explained the Police Chief. The Kapolda also hopes that the social assistance will be able to ease the burden on the community. "Through this activity, I hope that people who are affected, and in need or are in a difficult economic situation, can be helped. I have also ordered all task forces and resort polices to continue this social service program," he hoped.
